I bought this for my twenty-something daughter who is a very pretty athlete and also an engineer, so she doesn't have much occasion for dressing up. She LOVES this anklet. She said that she can wear it anywhere, and dresses it up or down. She wears it cycling, running, to work, and also for a night out on the town. I was worried that it would appear cheap, but she said that it does not -- and she loves it!

Nicer than I expected

I bought this anklet for my wife, as she enjoys wearing an anklet in the summer or even when dressing up. This is one that can be either casual, or can be worn with nice clothes. She absolutely LOVES it. I originally just wanted something to replace an inexpensive anklet that had broken, but this turned out to be much nicer than I expected. Very nice that it can be adjusted. Definately would recommend this product!

Beautiful Anklet

This is a beautiful anklet. Well crafted and worth the money. Looks dainty and feminine on. A must have. Swarovski crystals are the best. Would definitely recommend it.

Shiny! Sparkly! So Pretty!

I was surprised at how much I loved this anklet when I opened the box and put it on. It's just beautiful. I love the delicate shiny silver bars that separate the pretty sparkly crystals. Love that the size is adjustable also. At the price, you absolutely can't go wrong with this purchase, but I'd guarantee you'll love it when it arrives.

My anklet is the "BEST!"

I loved this anklet. It is just as it stated it would be. The anklet came in a bag in a box inside the package and was beatufil as I expected...more than I expected. I thought I was going to have this little bitty anklet but nope!!! It's not huge but it sure aint little. It's just right for my ankle. I love it. It came on time. Had a problem with the post office, but that's not the fault of kooljewelry. I was informed that I had to sign for the item when it arrived and I was not home and it went to the post office and I tried to pick it up after work but I had my id at home and could not get it. I had it redelivered and was very satisfied. Would order from the again. Thank you KJ.

This is good value for the price. The only minor problem is the issue with most anklet bracelets, the clasp is the same type as one finds on a gold chain necklace. Something sturdier is needed for the ankle.

Hard to call this an adult anklet. Beware.

I bought this chain, when it was on sale, to use as an ankle bracelet when I went on a recent trip to San Francisco. When I opened it, I loved the look and weight of the bracelet, the lobster claw clasp was really nice. I could tell the quality was really good. But, here's the downsize. 9" for an anklet is small. I could close it on my ankle but the fit was tight (almost cutting off my circulation). Now I am a thin woman, have regular proportions (no cankles here). Anyway, I ended up on my trip going into a local jeweler who told me that the standard for ankle bracelets is 10" not 9". So, unless you want this for a child or if you want to use it for an oversized bracelet (not an anklet), I would recommend you get a 10".

Question : Do anklets and toe-rings look good on a woman with bare feet?
My girlfriend goes barefoot a lot and at the moment does not wear jewellery on her feet. I am thinking of getting her an anklet and toe-rings but not sure if this would look good on a woman who doesn't wear her shoes very often.Does jewellery look good or since her feet are bare most of the time anyway should they just retain the natural look?

I think both look good; jewelry can look very good but the natural look is nice too. Depends what she's doing too; going out a bit of jewelry looks better but hiking I'd advise against it, all the good it's done me on the forest trails is that I lost a really cool anklet once, while the wildlife really doesn't care what I look like. :PThe advantage of foot jewelry -toe rings or 'barefoot sandals' (jewelry that loops from the ankle to the second toe, on top of the foot, but has no sole)- is that people are more likely to get she's barefoot by choice, and not ask as many questions like 'did you lose your shoes' or 'do you know you're barefoot' (like, duh, you could walk around and not *know*... but I've had people ask me that quite a few times). Anklets don't help as much against those kind of questions since they're more often worn with footwear.

Question : How do you make those cool anklets like you see sold at the beach?
You know, the ones that are like braided sort of, and have beads in the middle if them, and most people wear them as anklets or tight necklaces, and the string is slightly rough and tan????

As long as it is not bulky or noisy when it moves around, you should be fine. You don't want to wear items that jingle or items that would restrict movement or scratch against your skin when you move.As far as wanting to look fashionable in your class, I see nothing wrong with that.
