Questions & Answers
Question : How can I find my employee identification number?
I'm trying to get a copy of my W-2 online with adp but I need my employee identification number, not employer number, but my own id number, without my checkstub? Where can I get that info?
Answer:
If your employee ID number isn't your SSN, you'll have to ask at your job what it is. If it's not your SSN, maybe it's on one of your pay stubs.

Question : How would a prisoner prove their identification to a new employer?
How would a prisoner (from an open prison) prove their identification to a new employer???? The Governor is hardly gonna hand over their passport?I am asking on behalf of my aunty and she needs to know asap. Thanks for your time guysHere in the UK in an OPEN PRISON you are able to work outside of the prison.
Answer:
This is also known as work release in class 1A minimum security prisons. The offender who is applying also has paperwork from the prison itself. They do not have total choice in their jobs while incarcerated ( an offender cannot work in a bar serving alcohol as an example). Secondary, the offender will also carry a state issued ID card from the prison system with their picture on it.I hope this helps and you can find it useful

Question : identification?
Identification technology has advanced dramatically since fingerprint evidence was first used. What technology do you believe represents the most accurate method of identification that forensic experts have available to them today? Can this technology also be used by criminals to exploit the criminal justice system? Explain and support your position.
Answer:
Awww....you want us to do your homework for you. I do have an opinion on this but you won't learn anything if others do your work for you. Sorry, but it's for your own good.

Question : What identification, if any, is required for a child to board a commerical airliner?
I am making reservations for a 6 year old and an 8 year old. I will be traveling with them. They have no identification -- other than birth certificates. Do we need to bring the birth certificates, something else, or not worry about it?
Answer:
If you are the adult traveling with the children, they don't need anything if they're under 18, and traveling domestic. International travel will require at least a passport. Government-issued, valid photo ID is recommended for children, but if it's not available, and a verified adult is traveling with the children, they are OK.

Question : What kind of identification is required to fly in the USA?
Due to the recent raids in O'Hare Airport a few of my undocumented friends are afraid to fly. Is a passport really needed to fly even if its only in the United States or is any identification (whether expired or not) okay?
Answer:
Here is the information right form the TSA website:On April 28, 2008, DHS and TSA provided greater clarity on the types of identification that will be accepted at checkpoints in the United States.Beginning on May 26, 2008, adult passengers (18 and over) will be required to show a U.S. federal or state-issued photo ID that contains the following: name, date of birth, gender, expiration date and a tamper-resistant feature. These IDs include:Acceptable DocumentsPhoto of acceptable documentsClick here to view afull-size version. * U.S. passport * U.S. passport card * DHS "Trusted Traveler" cards (NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST) * U.S. Military ID * Permanent Resident Card * Border Crossing Card * DHS-designated enhanced driver's license * Drivers Licenses or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles (or equivalent) that meets REAL ID benchmarks (All states are currently in compliance) * A Native American Tribal Photo ID * An airline or airport-issued ID (if issued under a TSA-approved security plan) * A Registered Traveler Card (that contains the following: Name; Date of Birth; Gender; Expiration date; and a Tamper-resistant feature) * A foreign government-issued passport * Canadian provincial driver's license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) card * Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)Non-US/Canadian citizens are not required to carry their passports if they have documents issued by the U.S. government such as Permanent Resident Cards. Those who do not should be carrying their passports while visiting the U.S.This standardization of the list of accepted documents better aligns TSA with other DHS components, including Customs and Border Protection, and REAL ID benchmarks.Between April 28 and May 26, passengers who present a photo ID that does not include a name, date of birth, gender, expiration date and a tamper-resistant feature will be reminded of the upcoming changes at the checkpoint. After May 26, passengers who do not present an acceptable ID may be subject to additional screening.Hope this helps!

Question : What does the runway identification of an airport mean?
I have noticed a very same runway can bear two different numbers. But two different runways can bear the same number. On the other hand, numbers are qualified with either an L or R, which I assume stand for right or left. How do they choose a number? Why it seems a two-runway airport have arbitrary - at least to me - runway identification tags?
Answer:
Runway 5 indicates that the plane is landing with an approximate heading of 50 degrees. 23 would be a heading of 230 degrees.Actually it could be the same runway, but at different ends. (Hopefully, not at the same time). The two number are always 18 (180 degrees) different. You are correct about the "L" and "R" meaning left and right.

Question : How do you prove your identity if you only have 1 piece of identification?
A person, in most cases, needs two pieces of documentation to prove who they are when doing something like trying to obtain a driver's license or a passport. But what if a person:1) has only one piece of identification, their birth certificate, 2) has lost their social security card, 3) does not have a driver's license and 4) has no other form of identification? If a person needs two pieces of documentation to prove who they are and if a person needs two to get a social security card or passport, how can someone with only one proof of identification get out of this Catch-22-like situation?
Answer:
u can file an affidavit about losing the other piece of identification and this should suffice the purposeAM

Question : What documents/identification are needed to cross the Mexican border from Arizona and come back?
I have heard that it requires a birth certificate and state issued photo identification and I have also heard that it requires a tourist card. I am aware that a passport is not required until June 1st, 2009. I did go to Mexico early last year with only my driver's license and had absolutely no problems coming back, eventhough everyone told me I wouldn't be able to return.
Answer:
To tell you you wont be allowed back into your country is "Patently Absurd"They like to put as much fear as possible so that everyone will comply.Once you are talking to a U.S Migra Agente you are in the U.S So, if you have some sort of I.D.You will not be deported. Did I say that!!!!Where would they deport you???????This new legislation will never be strictly enforced.NOT 100%Dont worry sweety( I hope you are a girl) cause I dont call men SweetyYou will never be denied entry to your beloved U.S.A
